It's that time of year, when students head back to the think tank.
Shopping excursions for back-to-school clothes are less extensive than they used to be. These days teens keep an eye out for what they want year-round, picking up an item here, a pair of shoes there. Often, they update what they already have with a few new purchases.
So what's in? Last year, girls were giddy about skinny jeans. This year skinny jeans are still at the top of the class, but this time around a shirt dress is the preferred top. Boys are choosing tighter fitting jeans, perhaps worn with dress shoes.
What else would they like for their closet?
Our reporters consulted magazines, Web sites and students to find out what will be getting an "A" this school year.
