Zions Bank has created a donation account for the families of nine rescue workers affected by an accident Thursday at the Crandall Canyon Mine. The account has been named the "Crandall Canyon Rescue Worker Donation Account."

A separate account, the "Crandall Canyon Family Support Donation Account," exists for the families of six miners trapped in the mine since Aug. 6.

The company said all donations will be distributed by the mayor of Huntington. Donations can be deposited at any Zions Bank branch, or by calling 888-788-1099.

Donations also can be mailed to the Zions Huntington branch, P.O. Box 60, Huntington, UT 84528.
