Utah Power Credit Union is helping coordinate donations for families of six trapped miners and rescue workers in the Crandall Canyon Mine.

The company said it is donating $5,000 to start fund-raising efforts, which are being done in cooperation with the Huntington mayor's office.

The public can make donations by calling 800-833-8897, or at any Utah Power Credit Union Office.
