At Helena, Robert Fish fanned five batters in six innings of work to improve to 3-2. Jeremy Moore provided the offense with a 2-for-5 outing with four RBIs, including a home run in the third inning. Moore's shot scored Hector Estrella and Julio Perez as part of a four-run inning. In the eighth inning, the Brewers helped out with errors on consecutive plays as Scott McKnight's throwing error put Estrella on third and then Matthew Cline's fielding error sent him to home plate.

KEY STAT: The Owlz take advantage of the Brewers' three errors.

At Missoula, the game got away from the Raptors when the Osprey scored three runs in the third inning. Sean Coughlin provided the spark with a double to send the first batter of the inning, Taylor Harbin, to third base. Then Derrick Walker hit a triple off Rodney Brantley (1-1), scoring two runs. Anthony Smith's sacrifice fly sent Walker across the plate, making the score 5-1. For the Raptors, Travis Vetters belted a homer in the ninth inning with two outs.

KEY STAT: The Raptors strand 12 batters.
