BYU fans will have a chance to meet the 2007 Cougars Thursday at the fourth-annual Cougar Kickoff, presented by the Deseret Morning News.

The event begins at 6 p.m. on Haws Field, located just west of the Indoor Practice Facility.

Fans will be able to interact with the football, women's volleyball, women's soccer, and men's and women's cross country teams. The event will also include interactive games, activities, free posters, autograph opportunities, a live band and free Dreyer's "Cougar Craze" ice cream.

Greg Wrubell, the voice of the Cougars, will emcee the event. Fans will also have the opportunity to hear from several coaches, including BYU head football coach Bronco Mendenhall.

Legacy Hall, which showcases the history and tradition of the BYU athletic program, will be open in the Student Athlete Building.

Admission to the Cougar Kickoff is free. Parking is located north of the field.
