Tips for staying safe in water this summer

Other safety suggestions from officials:

• Keep at least 150 feet from other craft

• Do not boat or swim while under the influence of drugs or alcohol

• Be mindful of carbon monoxide ingestion while near the back and sides of boats

• Always swim with a buddy
