•The Salt Lake County Art Committee has issued a call for entries for local artists interested in exhibiting their work in the Rose Wagner Art Gallery. Deadline for entries is Aug. 31. •The Cedar City Arts Council, in association with the Utah Shakespearean Festival, has announced that its 6th Annual Fall Arts Festival will take place Sept. 21-22. Applications can be downloaded by visiting www.cedarcityartscouncil.org. •The Utah Museum of Fine Arts (UMFA) will offer a free Family Art Project on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. "Passion for Form," will explore the arts of Cambodia, Thailand, Burma (Myanmar) and Vietnam. For more information call 581-7332.
