Denver Snarr, son of Murray mayor, dies

MURRAY — Denver Daniel Snarr, a son of Murray Mayor Dan Snarr, died in his sleep Friday. He was 25.

Family members said he had struggled with an addiction to prescription painkillers for several years.

A viewing will be held today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Riverside 4th Ward Chapel at 5200 S. 700 West in Murray. Another viewing will be held Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the same location, followed by a funeral at 11 a.m.
