5 Ute issues heading into fall camp

Establish a starting running back. Will junior college all-American Matt Asiata step into the role?

Develop depth in the secondary. The Utes run a lot of packages that require 3 to 4 cornerbacks.

Find capable backups on the defensive line. Utah likes to rotate as many as four tackles.

Can Brian Johnson pick up where he left off? He was among nation's leaders in total offense as a sophomore.

Be ready for opener at Oregon State. Last year's kickoff at UCLA did not go well for Utes.
