ST. GEORGE — Fire restrictions are being lifted in several national forests across Utah.

Federal authorities announced that effective Friday, campfire and coal-grill restrictions were being lifted in the Dixie, Fishlake and Manti-LaSal National Forests, as well as BLM land on the Arizona Strip.

Fire bans are still being maintained on other federal, state and private lands throughout the state because of continuing fire danger.
