• Wasatch Community Gardens is offering a free workshop on Bug ID and pest management at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Grateful Tomato garden, 800 South and 600 East.
• Red Butte Garden is sponsoring a class at noon Thursday on plants that provide summer color and interest. Regular garden admission applies; members get in free. No registration is required, but the event is limited to 40 participants.
