The Utah Department of Transportation is holding an open house today to tell residents about a possible construction project in the Layton area. It will also gather information about noise walls along I-15.

The open house will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Layton Elementary School, 369 Gentile Street. UDOT and Layton officials will be on hand to answer questions about possible fixes to roads south of Hillfield Road, west of Fort Lane and north of 200 North in Kaysville.

The fixes could help accommodate extra traffic as result of a possible enlargement and restructuring of the South Layton Interchange along I-15 (Exit 330). More information can be found at: www.udot.utah.gov/laytoninterchange.

In addition, residents can learn more about receiving possible noise walls along I-15 from Farmington to Layton. Information is also available at: www.udot.utah.gov/go/davislanegain.
