He has declined to be interviewed by the Deseret Morning News, initially because he said he was unsure of whether he would actually run and then, later, because the newspaper declined to print his long list of 31 campaign promises word for word.
But he has sent four e-mails that shed some light on who he is sometimes written in rhyme, such as "I've been to hell and back, and that is a figurative fact. I've lived an adventurous life, while trying to end the strife." One e-mail asked, "Do you know the Crypt Master?" and he signs his correspondence, "In effect, RKM."
In addition to the e-mails, further information about him can be culled from his court record.
In December 2000, a 3rd District judge issued a permanent injunction keeping Muscheck off the grounds of Edison Elementary School after faculty there complained he had a history of threatening and intimidating them, often using anti-gay and misogynistic language.
He accused teachers of teaching a pro-gay and pro-abortion curriculum and called for students to be fed vegan meals and taught martial arts.
He lists among his goals banning school vouchers and promoting "an anti-abortion, anti-homosexual, pro-environmental, pro-sexual abstinence, pro-conservation, pro-vegan, pro-physical fitness, pro-calendar" education.
He would cross-deputize all Salt Lake City police officers as immigration agents, order mandatory recycling, institute a dress code "in accordance with traditional values," make Salt Lake alcohol- and pornography-free and create a shower-on-wheels program for the homeless.
And item No. 31 on his platform: "Sinners shall foot the bill. Whom is not a sinner?"
