Grant funding for historical records preservation projects is available to nonprofit organizations that apply through the Utah State Historical Records Advisory Board.
Funding can be used by repositories statewide to help preserve at-risk, historic records and to provide access to important collections or promote repositories through outreach activities during Archives Month (October). Small repositories in outlying areas are encouraged to apply.
Grants will be provided to a maximum of $7,500. All grants require a one-to-one in-kind and/or cash match.
The grant application deadline is Aug. 1. The application form is available online at www.archives.utah.gov/main/resources/archives/ushrab. For more information, contact Janell Tuttle, USHRAB executive secretary, at jtuttle@utah.gov.
