A resolution hearing for Aug. 28 has been set in 3rd District Court for Christy Anne Brown, 33, the Cyprus High School teacher whom prosecutors say repeatedly had sex with a 16-year-old boy who was one of her students. She is charged with three counts of forcible sex abuse, all second-degree felonies.
Following her arrest, Brown was released from jail to live in Texas with her family, according to court records. She also was ordered to have no contact with the youth, his family or anyone under age 18.
