The Utah team garnered 9,077 points to lead the field, with Texas, Louisiana, Wyoming and California rounding out the top five.
This is the fourth time that the NHSFR has been held in Springfield, Ill., and the Utah team has won the title each time 2000, 2001, 2006 and now 2007.
Utah event champions include: Caleb Bennett of Morgan in bareback riding, Rhen Richard of Roosevelt in tie-down roping and Jake Wright of Milford in saddle bronc riding.
