Front to back, Zach Simons, Andy Newell, Torin Koos and Chris Cook work out on the 1.5K roller-ski track, which opened in mid-July at Soldier Hollow. The steepest section features a 20 percent grade, which is a welcome challenge for cross country and nordic combined skiers as they train in hopes of qualifying for the U.S. Olympic team.
