In response to "It's bullets that kill" (Readers' Forum, July 26): Bullet's do not kill, it is the people behind the guns that kill. Alone a bullet is an inanimate object, it can do nothing, because it has no conscience and therefore cannot "think" to kill. I am sorry, but it is the people who kill, not guns, not bullets but those that combine the two and pull the trigger while aimed at another victim! If bullets kill, pencils misspell words.
