Forest officials in the Pleasant Grove Ranger District are looking for volunteers to help restore a path in the Uinta National Forest today that was disturbed by recent off-road vehicle use.
Volunteers from the Dedicated Hunter program and Utah 4-Wheel Drive Association will restore the area.
According to Marcy DeMillion, natural resource staff officer for the Pleasant Grove Ranger District, the group will be raking out the illegal off-road vehicle tracks, re-seeding the area to replace lost vegetation and building a 150-foot fence to keep vehicles from driving on the area.
Anyone who is interested in helping the group should meet at the Tibble Fork Reservoir parking lot in American Fork Canyon by 9 a.m.
