Rocky Mountain Revue: Almond fares well in marquee matchup

BULLS 85, HAWKS 79: A 31-16 advantage in the third quarter, behind eight points from forward Aaron Gray and seven from Justin Cage and 83 percent field-goal shooting, pulled Chicago from 11 points down at the half and staked the Bulls to their first win in the Revue. It dropped Atlanta to 2-2. Gray finished with a team-high 15 points, followed by 14 from Boo Davis off the bench. Shelden Williams of Atlanta led all scorers with 20.

SIXERS 98, SPURS 86: Philadelphia moved to 4-0 to continue to lead the Revue. Louis Williams continued scorching with 24 points, and Thadeus Young popped in 18 with Louis Amundson adding 17 and nine rebounds. James White, a second-year player, had 20 for the 1-3 Spurs, whose only win was Monday against the Jazz.
