The National Association of Federal Credit Unions has awarded Utah-based Goldenwest Credit Union the Federal Credit Union of the Year award.
The field for the award encompassed 814 credit unions.
Goldenwest is an employer-based membership credit union. It converted from community-based membership in December 2004.
The company, with branches in Salt Lake, Utah, Weber, Davis and Morgan counties, has 63,000 members and about $500 million in assets.
