Congratulations to the Jordan School Board for courageously offering themselves and future board members a well-deserved pay raise. It's about time. $3,000 annually is hardly compensation for the time they spend, the tough decisions they face and the criticisms they endure. $12,000 should be considered pocket change for a job as tough and demanding as this.
