Cedar Fort's Days of '47

All events will be at the Cedar Fort Park, 100 North and Church Street or the rodeo arena at the north end of 100 West:

July 21

• Cedar Valley Historical Pageant at 9 p.m. at the Cedar Fort Rodeo Arena.

July 22

• Concert in the Park at 7 p.m. Cedar Fort Park (bring a blanket or lawn chair).

July 23

• Water Fight — All day throughout the town from dawn to dusk (expect to get wet!).

July 24

• Chuckwagon Breakfast, 6-10 a.m. at the park

• Rodeo Slack, 8 a.m. at the rodeo arena

• Parade Lineup 11:30 a.m. at the park

• Parade at noon. The theme is "Celebrating Our Proud Heritage With Tradition."

• Carnival at 12:30 p.m. at the park — includes cake walk, dunking booth, fish pond, portraits, dime toss, water slide, water baseball, games, entertainment, lunch available for purchase from 1-3 p.m.

• Rodeo at 4 p.m. at the rodeo arena. Cost: Adults $7, Children 7-12 are $5, children 6-under free. Advanced ticket sales at the Cedar Valley Country Store $1 off through July 22. Events include: Barrel racing, breakaway, calf roping, team roping, poles, bull riding, mutton busting.
