Though destroying geese eggs is wrong, and geese are beautiful birds, they are not just a nuisance because of their poop. I lived in an area with a pond overrun by geese. They not only destroyed the grass, but they were also dangerous. I know of several incidences where Canada geese have attacked people. Ridding the golf course of the geese would save the golf course money in maintaining the grass and keeping their customers safe.
If Donna Murdock (Readers' Forum, July 12) can come up with a better idea than destroying the eggs, tell the golf course.
