Robin Erickson, former fleet manager for the Newspaper Agency Corp., was recently selected as director of the Utah Clean Cities Coalition.

The coalition is based in Salt Lake City and consists of a group of business owners, industry representatives and others who support ideas to improve air quality and reduce energy dependence. Erickson served on the coalition's board and participated in several educational campaigns.

As director of the NAC fleet, Erickson used alternative-fuel vehicles that saved an estimated $329,000 each year.

"The future of our air is in our hands, and with strong partnership commitments we can make breathing easier a reality for all Utahans," she said in a statement. "As director of the Utah Clean Cities Coalition, I will continue its strong commitment to clean fuels, clean air, and the future of Utah's next generation."
