One of two teens wanted in connection with a shooting in Ogden late last week was arrested Saturday.
Detectives obtained information that 19-year-old Jeremy Gallegos was staying at a relative's house and arrested him without incident about 10 a.m., said Ogden Police Lt. Scott Conley. He was booked into the Weber County Jail for investigation of two counts of attempted homicide.
Police say Gallegos and a 17-year-old juvenile shot two brothers, aged 24 and 26, Wednesday inside their vehicle near the area of 20th Street and Monroe Boulevard. One brother suffered critical injuries, the other minor.
Investigators believe the shooting involved rival gang members. One of the victims has been unable to speak to police since the shooting and the other has been uncooperative, according to police.
The search for the 17-year-old youth continued Saturday.
