After losing out on free agent Morris Peterson, the Jazz on Friday agreed to terms with veteran guard Jason Hart.
Hart has played in 240 games over six NBA seasons for five teams, most recently the Los Angeles Clippers. He averaged 9.0 points and 4.0 assists in 23 games for the Clippers last season, including 22 starts.
Hart agreed to a multiyear contract, financial terms of which were not disclosed.
Peterson agreed to a four-year, $23 million deal with New Orleans.
