Design plans are being finalized for a Cottonwood Heights community dog park at 3500 E. Wasatch Blvd. The two-acre park will be developed so that the wetland will not be disturbed. Storm-drain enhancement is part of the plan. Construction is scheduled to begin in late fall with a completion date of spring 2008.
Last year's successful "Bark in the Park" will be reprised this summer. Volunteers are needed to help with the event.
