Gov. Mike Leavitt celebrates the birthday of "Cat in the Hat" author Dr. Seuss in appropriate style Tuesday at the Capitol. Leavitt and other "guest readers" shared their favorite books with schoolchildren at a "Read Across America" read-a-thon. Utah schools and communities have planned "family literacy nights" and other events to encourage reading.
