Jericho (8 p.m., Ch. 2): It's ba-ack! Saved by the appeals of fans, CBS begins repeating this once-canceled show starting with Episode 1. The network has picked up seven episodes of "Jericho" as a midseason replacement — with a warning that if the ratings don't improve, it will be canceled for good.

Standoff (8 p.m., Ch. 13): Cheryl is forced to work with her ex-boyfriend on a high-profile hostage case.

Man vs. Wild (10 p.m., Discovery): Bear Grylls is dropped in the middle of the Australian outback in a new episode. Discovery leads into this with a 12-hour marathon of repeats from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. — the episode set in Utah airs at noon and 7 p.m.

Dr. Who (7 and 9 p.m., Sci Fi): The third season begins with a new sidekick for the doctor, feisty med student Martha (Freema Agyeman).
