Paradegoers urged to obey city rules

• Parade spectators should stay on public property unless invited by a private property owner. Public property is defined as the area between the curb and the sidewalk. Violators will be cited for trespassing.

• Overnight camping is allowed only on University Avenue. Spectators camping on 100 South, 200 East or Center Street will be issued citations.

• Spectators must clear noncamping areas by 11 p.m. tonight. All streets will be open for spectators at 5 a.m. Wednesday.

• No parking is available along the parade route after 8 p.m. tonight.

• Anything that would block the view of the parade must be taken down by 8 a.m. Wednesday.

• Police will enforce noise ordinances, traffic laws and disorderly conduct laws.
