With the NBA draft over, Jazz scouts have turned their attention to filling out Utah's Rocky Mountain Revue team.
According to a Honolulu newspaper report, among those reporting to the Jazz's upcoming summer-league training camp will be undrafted University of Hawaii shooting guard Matt Lojeski.
"After the draft, they expressed an interest, and so it looks like Matt will be on their summer team," agent Ben Pensack said in Saturday's Honolulu Advertiser.
"He still has to make the team," Pensack added. "But at least he's being given that chance."
Lojeski, from Wisconsin, averaged a team-high 16.9 points for Hawaii as a senior last season.
He worked out for the Jazz on June 18 and auditioned for Milwaukee and Golden State as well but was not among the 60 college and international players selected in Thursday's two-round draft.
Lojeski reportedly has already signed to play beginning Aug. 1 with a team in Belgium Okapi Aalstar but his contract allows him to opt out should he make an NBA roster.
His best shot for doing that will be by making a favorable impression at the Jazz-hosted Revue, a summer league for NBA rookies, free agents and youngsters that runs July 13-20 at Salt Lake Community College.
The Jazz have not yet announced which NBA franchises will be represented at this year's Revue, but a scan of NBA team Web sites and other Internet sources indicates Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, NBA-champion San Antonio and Seattle will also take part.
Their rosters include recently drafted college stars Kevin Durant, Al Horford, Jeff Green, Joakim Noah, Acie Law, Thaddeus Young and Jason Smith, though at least five of those teams are scheduled to also participate in summer leagues at Orlando or Las Vegas. It's not yet known precisely which players will come to Utah.
The scaled-down Revue has lost several teams over the past few years to the ever-growing Vegas event, now a 22-team, 55-game affair known as the NBA Summer League.
Jazz first-round pick Morris Almond of Rice is expected to play in the Revue.
ALUMNI UPDATE: Released after appearing in three games for Utah as an NBA rookie last season, former University of Illinois forward Roger Powell Jr. went on to average a league-high 22.3 points per game for the D-League's Arkansas RimRockers.
