GETTING AROUND IN VEGAS just got a little easier. Orbitz Worldwide is the first online travel agency to offer online booking for the Las Vegas Monorail. You can book tickets on www.orbitz.com or www.cheaptickets.com. Tickets, sold through the Activities path on Orbitz and CheapTickets sites, are available as standalone purchases or as add-ons for customers booking customized vacation packages to Las Vegas. Prices range from $5 to $40; ticket types offered are a single-ride, two-ride, 10-ride, unlimited one-day pass and unlimited three-day pass. The Las Vegas Monorail is a seven-stop elevated train that covers four miles of Las Vegas casinos and attractions, including a direct connection to eight premiere resort destinations and the Las Vegas Convention Center.
