Several local companies recently received Stevie Awards through the fifth annual American Business Awards competition.
Orem-based Omniture Inc., which provides online business optimization software, announced that Chief Executive Officer Josh James won the Stevie for "Best Executive" in the computer and software category.
And for the second year in a row, Chris Harrington, Omniture's president of worldwide sales, received the Stevie for "Best Sales Executive."
Provo's Agel Enterprises, together with its communications agency of record Axis41, received the award for "Best Website Software Programming/Design." Agel, which offers suspension gel technology, also was a finalist in the Stevie Award categories of "Best New Product," "Best Website: Overall Design" and "Best Executive."
