Zoo to host 'Disneymania' concert

Hogle Zoo will host "Disneymania, A Concert for Conservation," Wednesday, July 11, at 6:30 p.m. in the Meadow Gold Wildlife Theatre at the zoo.

This concert will be hosted by Disney Channel celebrity Olesya Rulin from "High School Musical" 1 and 2 and will feature Disney Records recording artists T-Squad. In addition, the concert will also feature presentations and conservation activities by Hogle Zoo's World of Flight bird show and education staff and a post-show meet and greet.

Ticket prices for adults are $15 ($10 for members) and $12 for children ($8 for members) 2 through 12 years. Tickets are on sale at the Hogle Zoo ticket office or in guest services, or by calling 584-1767.

Concert tickets include zoo admission; proceeds go toward benefiting the conservation efforts of the Association of Zoos & Aquariums and Hogle Zoo. On concert day, Hogle Zoo will stay open until 8:30 p.m.
