Adult soccer conduct shameful

Regarding the Deseret Morning News' June 21 editorial, "Boys' soccer conduct shameful": Parents, players and coaches, please conduct yourself in a civil manner. I for one do not want the taint of European hooliganism associated so much with soccer becoming a part of the Utah scene. Are you parents and coaches at the game for your children or for your own ego?

And while I am at it, let us close ranks and support Mayor Tom Dolan's decision to shut down the Lone Peak Skate Park in Sandy until better supervision is in place. This has been a great venue for our kids. They need our support to ensure safety and cleanliness for all.
