BYU official tapped for devotional talk

PROVO — Delora Bertelsen, Brigham Young University's managing director of employee relations, equal opportunity and benefit services, will speak at the BYU devotional Tuesday at 11:05 a.m. in the Joseph Smith Building Auditorium.

Bertelsen's talk, "University Human Resources: The Care and Keeping Of," will offer a glimpse into BYU's human resources department.

Bertelsen served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Paris and received her bachelor's and master's degrees from BYU. She is a former city council member and mayor of Springville and currently is chairwoman of the Springville Arts Commission.
