Alex is a beautiful pure-white kitten who loves to cuddle. He purrs all the time, and he enjoys being held. Alex came to the shelter with three siblings who are just as cute as he is, but all have been waiting awhile to meet their forever family, because there is so much kitten competition. Alex's adoption fee during June is only $55, including his neutering and many other extras. And if you adopt Alex along with one of his siblings or friends, the fee for both is only $65.
Alex and Jessie would like to remind you that there are many good reasons to keep your feline friends strictly inside your home. Pets rely on us for protection, and sadly there are too many dangerous things outdoors that can shorten the lives of our cats. This week alone, our shelter has received four felines who have been seriously injured when they were caught inside the engines or wheel wells of various vehicles. This normally happens in the winter when cold temperatures cause kitties to crawl under cars for warmth, but this time of year, it could be that cats are seeking shade from the sun. Whatever the cause, it's another reminder that cats are safer and live longer indoors.
