ST. GEORGE Police said they had no trouble tracking down a suspect in a Thursday morning burglary.
He left his wallet behind.
Police said an employee at the Frito Lay snack business called to report a burglary just after 4 a.m. Thursday. Numerous cartons of chips, cookies and jerky were stolen, officers said.
A wallet with the suspected burglar's ID was found at the scene of the crime.
"Thinking that this might be a clue, the officer followed up," St. George Police Sgt. Craig Harding said Friday.
Officers went to the man's home and found Frito Lay products inside the suspect's car. The 18-year-old man was booked into the Purgatory Jail on investigation of burglary.
