SANDY Police have arrested a man they believe robbed a Key Bank Wednesday morning.
A man entered the bank, 8625 S. Highland Drive, at 11:39 a.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding cash, according to Sandy Police Sgt. Victor Quezada. The teller complied.
Meanwhile, another teller pulled the panic alarm to summon police.
Before they arrived, the man jumped into a medium-size white car where another person was waiting. The car headed south.
Police say the robber is not believed to have had a gun.
Quezada said a 25-year-old Kearns man was arrested without incident after police discovered evidence at the bank linking him to the crime.
