Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson will host a community discussion Thursday on the role individuals can play in preventing sexual violence.
The panel discussion is the 13th in a series of Freedom Forums hosted by Salt Lake City and KCPW. It will run from 7 to 9 p.m. at the main branch of the Salt Lake City Library, 210 E. 400 South, in the auditorium.
Panel participants will be Rape Recovery Center of Utah executive director Heather Stringfellow; Nubla Pena, the Sexual Assault Response Team coordinator with the Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault; Alana Kindness, victims advocates coordinator with the Salt Lake City Police Department; and La Rue Campbell, sexual assault response coordinator at Hill Air Force Base.
The forum is free. The format will focus on panelists speaking on their areas of expertise.
