John Glenn has so many offers to write a book about his return to space that he's hired a literary agent to field the calls.

"He felt it would be best to hire a professional to deal with these things," the senator's spokesman, Jack Sparks, said Tuesday.Sparks said he didn't know whether Glenn would write a book following his retirement from the Senate in January. Glenn's only book is "We Seven," a 1962 collaboration with the six other Mercury astronauts.

His literary agent, Mort Janklow, was unavailable for comment.
