JULIE LEONARD, who teaches book arts and bookbinding at the University of Iowa's Center for the Book, will speak on "Contemporary Context: The Layering Meaning in Artists' Books," Tuesday, 7 p.m., D. BRANDON MULL, author of "Fablehaven" and "Fablehaven: Rise of the Evening Star," will sign copies of his books, Monday, 6 p.m., Barnes and Noble, Jordan Landing; and Wednesday, 6:30 p.m., Barnes and Noble, Layton Market Center.

DALE MURPHY, athlete and author of "The Scouting Report Youth Athletics," will sign copies of his book, Thursday, 6:30 p.m., University Mall Deseret Book, Orem; and Saturday, noon, Logan Deseret Book, Main Street, Logan.

MICHELE HOLMES, author of "Counting Stars," will sign copies of his book, Saturday, 11 a.m.-noon, Seagull Book, 1625 W. 9000 South, West Jordan; and 1-2 p.m., Seagull Book, 5720 S. Redwood Road, Taylorsville.

JERRY BORROWMAN, author of "As Time Goes By," will sign books, Saturday, noon-1 p.m., Seagull Book, 1625 W. 9000 South, West Jordan.

22nd ANNUAL WRITERS @ WORK CONFERENCE will be held June 18-22 at Westminster College.
