Meetings on contaminated soil scheduled

The Utah Department of Environmental Quality and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will hold public meetings in West Jordan and West Valley City to update residents on an investigation of contaminated soil found in the Bingham-Magna Ditch and cleanup efforts. Representatives and technical experts will be on hand to answer questions.

West Jordan

Where: West Jordan City Hall, 8000 Redwood Rd.

When: Thursday, June 7, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

West Valley City

Where: West Valley Family Fitness Center, 5415 W. 3100 South

When: Wednesday, June 13, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
