OREM The Utah Valley State College Math Summit, which aims for a seamless transition from high school to college, will be June 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
High school and college teachers and administrators will discuss student success in mathematics in areas such as algebra, geometry and pre-calculus.
Diana Suddreth, the Utah State Office of Education's secondary mathematics specialist, will present the latest proposed changes to the state math core, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback regarding the proposed changes.
There is no charge to attend the summit, but preregistration is required.
