Learn to Row Day

National Learn to Row Day will be held Saturday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Great Salt Lake Marina. This is a free public event intended to give participants a taste of rowing. Some of the scheduled events include hands-on ergometer lessons, an on-the-water rowing experience with trained rowers and information on the year-round rowing opportunities available on the Great Salt Lake.

To get to the marina, take the Saltair exit from I-80. Take the frontage road west past Saltair to the Utah State Parks and Recreation marina office, then west along the marina to the event. Banners will mark the exact location.
