Today on TV

• On the Lot (7 p.m., Ch. 13): The competition continues, although not a whole lot of people are watching. As a result, the show will now air once a week — on Tuesdays — instead of twice a week. (And that's why we got a repeat of "House" on Monday instead of the episode of "On the Lot" that had been scheduled to air.)

• Gilmore Girls (7 p.m., Ch. 30): Lorelai brings Asia to Rory. (R)

• ALMA Awards (8 p.m., Ch. 4): These awards celebrate Latino artistic achievement in U.S. film, TV and music. Eva Longoria hosts; Jessica Alba, Andy Garcia, Beyonce Knowles, George Lopez, Mario Lopez, Eva Mendes and Prince are scheduled to appear. (Taped)

• America's Got Talent (8 p.m., Ch. 5): Part talent show, part freak show, this cheesy series returns for a second season with a new host (the king of cheesy TV, Jerry Springer) and a new judge (Sharon Osbourne). And neither addition is really an indication that the show will take a less bizarre path.

• Veronica Mars (8 p.m., Ch. 30): In an episode titled "My Big Fat Greek Rush Week" (you've got to love that, don't you?) Veronica goes undercover to expose a sorority. (R)

• Kathy Griffin stand-up special (11 p.m., Bravo) and Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List (midnight, Bravo): After her latest stand-up comedy special (the exact title of which I don't want to print in a family newspaper), it's the season premiere of Griffin's reality show — and she's dealing with the reality of life after divorce. If that's not enough for you, there's a 12-hour marathon of "D-List" repeats that runs from 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

• The Shield (11 p.m., FX): In the season finale, Vic and Aceveda work together, and Shane is in big trouble with the Armenian mob.
