Clarification: Change in state Republican rules

A proposed change to state Republican rules to be considered at the June 9 state Republican convention will allow county party officials to take precincts that have a small number of registered Republicans — less than 50 people — and allow those precincts to have a different election process for party delegates.

In addition, an immigration GOP platform plank originally on the June 9 state convention agenda has been removed — platform changes will be considered at next year's state GOP convention.
