ADVANTAGE JAZZ

Jazz outshoot Spurs 47.1% to 40.6%

Jazz have 18 assists on 32 field goals, San Antonio has 11 on 28.

ADVANTAGE SPURS

Spurs make 30 free throws, 10 more than Jazz even attempt.

Points in the paint: Spurs 40, Jazz 30

Manu is the man of the moment

Manu Ginobili's statistics were impressive enough with 22 points, six rebounds and three steals, but even more than just numbers, every time the Spurs needed a big play, he came through. A rebound here, or a steal there, an assist or a big bucket, even baiting some Jazz players into some bad decisions, the fifth-year player out of Argentina stepped up to make the Spurs big three (Duncan, Parker, Ginobili) better than just the Jazz big two (Williams, Boozer).

The Spurs finally win in Utah

San Antonio entered Monday's Game 4 with the Jazz with an 0-9 all-time playoff record in Utah. However, it was not the same Spurs team that lost those other nine games, as it found a way to make the loud crowd a nonfactor and picked up the franchise's first playoff win in the Beehive State.
