Jazz starting point guard Deron Williams will be a game-time decision for tonight's Game 4 of the NBA Western Conference finals.
Williams did not practice Sunday due to a bout with the stomach flu, and at the time Jazz officials called him "probable" for tonight's meeting with San Antonio at EnergySolutions Arena.
Williams, who also suffered a neck stinger in Saturday's Game 3, did not take part in Monday's morning shootaround, either.
"We hope to see No. 8 out there," Jazz starting shooting guard Derek Fisher said. "If there's any physical energy he can expend to get in it, he'll do it."
In the seemingly unlikely event Williams is unable to go against San Antonio tonight, Fisher would start in his place at the point. Backup shooting guard Gordan Giricek probably would open in Fisher's spot, with usual third point Dee Brown perhaps seeing minutes in the Jazz backcourt as well.
Williams is averaging 30.3 points in the series, including a career-high 34 points in Game 1 and 31 points in Utah's Game 3 win.
The Spurs lead the best-of-seven series 2-1.
